2A. Location Data

CaterSphere uses your location to show nearby caterers and delivery estimates. Specifically:

• When: Location is accessed only while the app is actively in use ("While Using the App" permission). We never access location in the background.
• Why: To display caterers near you, calculate delivery distances, and provide accurate delivery time estimates.
• How: Location is requested only when you initiate a search or start a delivery order — not automatically on app launch.
• Control: You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device Settings. The app remains usable without location access; you can enter an address manually instead.
• Sharing: Your precise location is never sold or shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to fulfill your delivery order (e.g., providing a delivery address to the caterer).

• Improve platform performance and security
